He graduated from Anhui Polytechnic University in 2004 and obtained a bachelor's degree. Obtained a master's degree in 2007; Graduated from the University of Science and Technology of China in 2010 with a doctoral degree; Later, He conducted postdoctoral Research at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology in Saudi Arabia. In 2014, he worked at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology as a Research Scientist. He joined the School of Materials Science and Engineering at Zhejiang University of Technology in 2019 and am currently the deputy director of the Advanced Materials Research Center. S. Ferreira is a Professor at the Physics Department of Aveiro University, Portugal. Between 1990 and 1991 he was at the University of Essex, UK, performing experimental work on external cavity semiconductor lasers and nonlinear optical fiber amplifiers. His research interests have been concerned with the modelling and characterization of multi-section semiconductor lasers for coherent systems, quantum well lasers, optical fiber amplifiers and lasers, optical sensors, soliton propagation, polarization and nonlinear effects in optical fibers. He has been the leader of the Optics and Optoelectronics Group of the I3N-Institute of Nanostructures, Nanomodelling and Nanofabrication.
