Brief Introduction: Yufei Ma received his PhD degree in physical electronics from Harbin Institute of Technology, China, in 2013. From September 2010 to September 2011, he spent as a visiting scholar at Rice University, USA. Currently, he is a professor at Harbin Institute of Technology, China. He is the winner of National Outstanding Youth Science Fund. His research interests include optical sensors, trace gas detection, laser spectroscopy, solid-state laser and optoelectronics. He has published~200 publications (including~40 ESI hot/highly cited papers) and given more than 30 invited presentations at international conferences. He is the winner of 2021, 2022 Most Cited Researchers from Elsevier. He serves as Aera/Associate/Topical editor for 9 SCI-indexed journals: Opto-Electronic Advances; Photoacoustics; Optics Express; Optical Engineering; Microwave and Optical Technology Letters; Chinese Optics Letters; Sensors; Applied Sciences; Frontiers in Physics.

Brief Introduction: Yang Yue received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering and optics from Nankai University, China, in 2004 and 2007, respectively. He received the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Southern California, USA, in 2012. He is currently a Professor with the School of Information and Communications Engineering, Xi'an Jiaotong University, China. He is the founder and current PI of Intelligent Photonic Application Technology Laboratory (iPatLab). Dr. Yue’s current research interest is intelligent photonics, including optical communications, optical perception, and optical chip. He has published~300 journal papers (including Science) and conference proceedings with >12,000 citations, one book, seven edited books, two book chapters, >70 issued or pending patents, >200 invited presentations (including 1 tutorial, >30 plenary and >80 keynote talks). Dr. Yue is a Fellow of SPIE, a Senior Member of IEEE and Optica. He is also among the Top 2% Scientists List Worldwide by Stanford University. He is an Associate Editor for IEEE Access and Frontiers in Physics, Editor Board Member for four other scientific journals, Guest Editor for >10 journal special issues. He also served as Chair or Committee Member for >100 international conferences, Reviewer for >70 prestigious journals.

Brief Introduction: Pan Jun, male, a member of the Communist Party of China, holds a doctorate and is a professor. He graduated from Anhui Polytechnic University in 2004 and obtained a bachelor's degree. Obtained a master's degree in 2007; Graduated from the University of Science and Technology of China in 2010 with a doctoral degree; Later, He conducted postdoctoral Research at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology in Saudi Arabia. In 2014, he worked at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology as a Research Scientist. He joined the School of Materials Science and Engineering at Zhejiang University of Technology in 2019 and am currently the deputy director of the Advanced Materials Research Center. Mainly engaged in the precise synthesis, surface regulation and optoelectronic device research of semiconductor nanomaterials, he has published over 50 SCI papers, among which 11 are ESI highly cited papers. He has been granted 4 international patents and has been successively selected for relevant talent programs in Zhejiang Province and the country.

Brief Introduction: He researches on the thermodynamic cycles and thermophysical properties of working fluid, which is aiming at efficient utilization of medium-low grade thermal energy. Brief IntroductionGuohua Xie is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry and a Humboldt Scholar, He received his Bachelor of Engineering in Electronic Science and Technology, Master of Science in Microelectronics and solid-State Electronics and Doctor of Science in Microelectronics and solid-State Electronics from Jilin University in 2006, 2008 and 2011, respectively. From 2011 to 2012, he was a postdoctoral fellow at the Institute of Applied Photophysics at the Technical University of Dresden, Germany. From 2013 to 2015, he was a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of St Andrews, UK. From 2015 to 2023, he worked as an associate researcher at the School of Chemistry and Molecular Sciences, Wuhan University. He became a professor at Xiamen University in 2023. He has worked in Nature Communications, Science Advances, The Innovation, Advanced Materials, and the Journal of the American Chemical Nearly 300 research papers have been published in internationally renowned journals such as Society and Angewandte Chemie International Edition, and 10 domestic patents have been authorized.

Brief IntroductionMário F. S. Ferreira is a Professor at the Physics Department of Aveiro University, Portugal. Between 1990 and 1991 he was at the University of Essex, UK, performing experimental work on external cavity semiconductor lasers and nonlinear optical fiber amplifiers. His research interests have been concerned with the modelling and characterization of multi-section semiconductor lasers for coherent systems, quantum well lasers, optical fiber amplifiers and lasers, optical sensors, soliton propagation, polarization and nonlinear effects in optical fibers. He has been the leader of the Optics and Optoelectronics Group of the I3N-Institute of Nanostructures, Nanomodelling and Nanofabrication.
